  • Why must I stop eating fruit?

    This is only for a short time while you are trying to lose fat weight or reverse type 2 diabetes and fatty liver disease.

    Fructose, which is sugar, is stored in the liver. Your liver can only store around 30 grams, that is it, what happens if you overeat fruit which is a simple sugar, and you go over those 30 grams, whatever is not used for energy is then stored as fat to be used as energy later. If you are eating fruit multiple times per day, most likely you will never dip into your own stored fats and burn them as fuel.

    When you consume any amount of fruit it will elevate insulin for a period of time and kick you out of fat burning.

    This is only temporary, once you become rooted in fat adaptation you will be able to introduce berries back into your meal plan.

  • Why has my cholesterol gone up since eating high-fat low-carb meals?

    When doing a high good dietary fat low carb meal, it is normal to have your cholesterol go up some.

    Most doctors who are educated in this 2000-year-old diet understand that. There 2 reasons why your cholesterol is high.

    One of them is you are probably burning fat.

    Right now, you may be thinking this guy is crazy for saying that.

    I have legitimate science to lay in front of you.

    The second reason is your insulin might be high or your blood sugar is high which could be affecting your cholesterol.

    One thing that is not affecting your cholesterol in a negative way (bad cholesterol) is being on a high good dietary fat low carb meal it is differentially not where the science links.

    Why are you having me track my blood glucose levels and ketone levels?

    This is how we track if you are burning fat most all the time even between the sheets when asleep.

    If your glucose is low according to the meter and your ketones are up, you are in fat burning.

    These two readings will also tell us the foods you are eating are fat-burning foods.

    Most diets do not do this, how in the world would you know if you are even burning your own stored body fat and how would you know if the foods you were eating were kicking you out of fat burning.
